CONTEST RULES FOR 2011
The rules for TARC 2011 offer a new challenge to the student teams. Here are some major differences between the 2010 and 2011 contests:
- Target altitude is 750 feet rather than 825 feet
- Switch to 15-inch parachutes (+/- 1 inch) rather than streamers as the required recovery device

- Elimination of the rocket motor total impulse limit of 80 N-sec
- Elimination of the 35-second minimum flight duration for qualification
